How do I add or delete my bank account details?
You can set up direct debit payments in your FoodByUs account by adding your bank account details.
NOTE: FoodByUs does not save or store your credit card or bank account details. Instead, we keep a token (a non-sensitive reference to your credit card or bank account details) linked to your FoodByUs account.
Your payment provider issues this token; so you can use the same credit card or bank account details for future transactions.
If you don't add any payment methods, you will be asked to enter your credit card details at checkout; and the tokenised version will automatically be stored in your account for future transactions.
To add or delete your bank account details:
Step 1: Sign in to your FoodByUs dashboard.
Step 2: In your dashboard menu, go to Finance > Payment Methods.
Under Payment Methods, you should see “Bank Accounts” under your “Credit Cards” section, as shown below:
If you don’t see the “Bank Accounts” section, this means your direct debit option is switched off.
If so, contact our Customer Service Team for assistance.
Step 3: Click on “Add Bank Account”.
Step 4: In this pop-up window, click on the logo of your bank if you see it.
If not, find it in the “Select other bank” options.
Hit the down arrow to view more options.
Step 5: Click on the name of your bank, read the “Direct Debit Agreement”, then hit “Continue”.

Step 6: Log in to your bank account portal.
Step 7: Authenticate your bank account details.
Step 8: Authorise FoodByUs to debit your account.
Your bank account details are now added to your direct debit payment option.
