How do I shop for dry goods and pantry items?
Shop for dry goods and other pantry staples from suppliers on the FoodByUs Marketplace who deliver to your area.
To start shopping:
Step 1: Launch your FoodByUs sign-in page.
Step 2: Enter your FoodByUs registered e-mail address and password, then click on SIGN IN.
Step 3: From your dashboard, click on Search.
Step 4: Enter the suburb or the postcode of your FoodByUs registered address.
Then click on your registered location to confirm.
Step 5: On the Marketplace page, click on Dry Goods.
This will take you to a list of suppliers who deliver to your location.
Note each supplier’s:
- Minimum order requirement (if any);
- Delivery fee (if any);
- Cut-off time;
- Delivery schedule; and
- Delivery days
Step 6: Click on the supplier you’d like to shop from.
Step 7: At the supplier’s storefront, click on an item’s Add button to start adding items you’d like to buy to your cart.
Scroll down and hit Next to see other items on the next page.
Or find items faster by searching for them.
You can also save your favourite items or those you plan to buy repeatedly by clicking on the heart beside an item’s Add button.
Hearted items are saved to your Pantry List which works like a Wish List.
Use the Pantry List feature to save you time in finding items, especially if the supplier you’re buying from has hundreds of products in their store.
Step 8: When you’re done shopping, review the items in your cart, then hit Go to Checkout (final step).
Step 9: Choose your delivery date. Click on the dropdown arrow to launch the calendar. Then click on your preferred date from those highlighted.
Your delivery date is now set. Note that available delivery dates vary per supplier.
Step 10: Leave your delivery instructions (if any).
Include specific info such as:
- The exact area in or outside your venue where you'd like your order to be left (e.g. on the counter in the kitchen; inside the ref);
- Your preferred delivery time (if any) that matches the Supplier's schedule;
- Onsite point-of-contact/ staff who can receive your order (if any);
- Contacting you at a specific time for you to receive the order yourself; and
- The exact location and code of your lock box (if any)
Then click on Continue.
Step 11: If you have a voucher, go to Payment in your dashboard, then click on “apply voucher”.
Type your voucher code in the box, then hit “Add”.
Your voucher is now redeemed.
Step 12: Review your order one last time.
Or, go straight to paying for and completing it.
Once your order is created, it will appear on your dashboard’s Upcoming Orders with an Order Reference number that starts with SYD** if your FBU registered address is in Sydney or MEL** if in Melbourne.
