How can I view my total spend by product/ category?
The Total Purchases chart on your dashboard can help you track your shopping expenses, stay within budget, and plan future orders.
To view your total spend by product type or category:
Step 1: Launch your FoodByUs sign-in page.
Step 2: Enter your FoodByUs registered e-mail address and password, then click on “SIGN IN”.
Step 3: From your dashboard, click on Reports then scroll down to Purchases By Category.
Products you buy will be automatically categorized, for instance Baked Goods & Sweets:
Step 4: View your weekly or monthly total spend/ purchases by product category:
Step 5: Click on whatever category/ categories you’d like to isolate or hide from view, for instance, Meat & Poultry, as shown below.
Your total spending only in that category will be shown in the chart, while the deselected categories will be automatically grayed out.
Step 6: Select or deselect as few or as many categories as you’d like.
Note: Only the prices of the first category you selected will be shown.
Step 7: To see the prices of other selected categories, point your mouse on each category bar, as shown below:
Click on the same bar, to reveal a breakdown of your total spend per supplier (especially if you bought products from more than one supplier), as shown below:
Hover your mouse over the category bar and the date of the purchase will show above. You may apply this step on the other category bars of your Purchases by Category chart.
